See md: Has this ever happened before or has patient been on any medications or alcohol of any kind? Please be carefully examined and thorough history of any meds or ingest ions. Must be seen and have history reviewed for possible metabolic or central nervous system problem. ER or clinic today!

Rule-out cardiac: Most syncopal episodes for young patients are benign. If suddenly getting up from flat or sitting position, may be related to orthostatic intolerance. However, important to rule out any cardiac reasons, especially if this is a recurrent issue. Your family doctor should review family history (especially of sudden death), current meds, a physical exam, and EKG to rule out most serious conditions.
