What causes Hashimotos? I only found out I have it cause I had post partum thyroiditis. One of the antibodies was slightly positive. TSH normal.
So I have Hashimotos thyroiditis and I use to take my Synthroid but stopped once I had my gastric sleeve. Because my levels went back to normal should I go head and start back up on my meds and still have my labs for Tsh drawn regularly?
