Home remedies: There are various home remedies that can help with minor medical problems. Baking soda paste may help, but of course since I'm a medical doctor, I'm going to recommend a more robust treatment -which could include antibiotics (pills or an ointment over the area) and possibly a quick surgical procedure (lancing or draining) of the abscess. If it's getting worse, forget the baking soda and call a doc
