Specializes in Family Medicine

If got MD degree.: A physiotherapist or physical therapist, is not necessarily a medical doctor (MD or DO). A physiotherapist can go to medical school or a school of osteopathic medicine and become a MD or DO. A physiotherapist can also get a doctorate and thus have a PhD.
