can children use pilocarpine?

Why do you ask?: Pilocarpine is approved in children for specific indications. For example, some doctors may use it to help with conditions that predispose to dry mouth; ophthalmologists may use it in the eye to help control glaucoma. However, it can be very dangerous if not used properly as it may have significant side effects and interactions. Therefore, it must not be used without physician supervision.
