Please tell me, could a kidney infection cause liver enzymes to elevate?
Child has elevated AST liver enzyme (1st test 58, 2nd test 43). Dr says no worry. Also has complex kidney cyst. Is it a sign of cancer spread 2 liver?
My haptoglobin level is elevated, at 2.65 g/L (ref. 0.17-2.00). Is this in and of itself a cause for concern (e.g. cancer)? I have also been experiencing low iron/hemoglobin/hematocrit for some time. Kidney/liver function normal. GI tract is clear.
There was a slightly hyperechoic focus in the lower pole of left kidney, may represent normal cortical lobulation, however underlying lesion can not be ruled out. All else normal, mildly Elevated liver enzymes , Am I freaking out for no reason?
