Blood clot: Yes, but you need to have an ultrasound done to rule out deep vein thrombosis which could break off and become a pulmonary embolus, which can kill people. If it hasn't been done yet, and you have a superficial clot, go to an urgent care center or Er for an emergent ultrasound and anti-thrombotic treatment. Usually with blood clots, there is pain, swelling, redness, warmth, and maybe a tender cord
