How to determine when you are stressed?

7 doctors weighed in across 2 answers

Stress symptoms: Usual symptoms of emotional or psychological stress include muscle tension, fast heartbeat, sweating, tremors, faster breathing, pacing, fidgeting, and so on. There can also be headache, stomach ache, back or neck pain, etc. Most often, though, a person knows they are stressed subjectively, i.e., they feel stressed. Sometimes friends or family can see it before the person can himself.
