Get Healthy: Therapy and medication take a lot longer than two days to work. Best way to work on depression without doing therapy is to go to the library and get a book called Mind over Mood. Start exercising, normalize sleep, get an hour in the sun daily, eat well. Do the work in the book--and if ANY suicidal issues arise--go to a doctor and ask for help immediately. Some depression requires more.
