Not herpes related: Herpes, genital or otherwise, doesn't cause anything like this. These are entirely unrelated problems. Many past infections could cause "old granulomatous disease" detected by chest Xray or CT, and most cases like this turn out not to be serious. But don't take the chance -- follow your doctor's advice about further evaluation. But don't worry at all about herpes. Good luck!
