Pop and puncture?: The "popping" of the back is like "cracking" of the knuckles. It is a sound people hear when they manipulate their back and bubbles in the synovial fluid in the joints of the spine pop and release gas. "Puncturing" of the lung is really a puncture of the pleural lining AROUND the lung, causing the lung to collapse. This is called a PNEUMOTHORAX.

Highly unlikely: You would have to break something that would then have to puncture the lining of your lung.

Punctured lung: There are only two real ways you could puncture along by popping your back whatever that really means. Sometimes patients can develop a punctured lung what is called a spontaneous pneumothorax if they cough very very vigorously. Another possibility is if a patient should cough hard enough to fracture a rib this to can cause a punctured long by a very different mechanism. Most likely the pain you feel after popping your back his musculoskeletal especially if you're not short of breath.
