A doctor has provided 1 answer

Itching vs discomfor: Yeast infections are often itching and/or burning, whereas a vaginal "scratch" often my be uncomfortable, even painful. The scratch can become inflamed or infected with redness, warmth, swelling, etc. And should be evaluated by a health care provider.
