There are so: Many causes for low back pain that have nothing to do with the "bony" anatomy that is visible on x-rays. In fact, one of the most common causes for back pain is related to the soft tissue, particularly the paraspinal muscles, near the spine. If your ergonomics, weight, gait, etc are suboptimal it can really strain this area and lead to pain. Consider reviewing this with a physiatrist.
