Not a steroid: ProAir (albuterol) inhaler is not a steroid, it is a short-acting beta-agonist that relaxes your bronchial muscles to help you breathe better. It does increase heart rate and can make people feel jittery / anxious / nervous. Hope this helps a bit.

Proair: Albuterol is a bronchodilator that can cause nervousness & dry mouth & headaches. It is not a steroid.
