Why does my shoulder still hurt a year after rotator cuff surgery?

Strength and enduran: difficult to answer. Rotator cuff repairs take a long time to rehab. Shoulder only will only feel better after the strength and endurance are back near normal. Sometimes this never happens. Some rotator cuff tears have a high rate of retear also.

Shoulder : Unfortunately I have seen many patients like u continuing to have pain long after healing should have occurred. The surgery is mostly for increased range of motion provided good physical therapy however the surgery itself can produce chronic pain and arthritis. Should see a reasonable pain management provider for further eval and treatment Wish I could say all pain will go away but can't
