Bacterial vs Viral: It could be an infection, it depends on your other symptoms and how long you have had all of these symptoms. Sinusitis could also be bacterial or viral in origin and it could be hard to distinguish between the two. If it's viral sinusitis, antibiotics will not work and it should resolve on its own. Drink plenty of fluids and try using a nasal rinse (or Flonase or Nasacort) for symptom relief.
