Liquid meds or:: Most drugs are available in liquid forms. 'alternative' methods require the patient to achieve an altered state of consciousness. Try an Ice Pack: Often the post-operative pain is due to swelling. The use of cold will often reduce swelling and in turn reduce the discomfort. If the teeth were not impacted (below the gumline), and were "straight-forward" and quick removals, then the use of ice packs may be sufficient. Note: do not damage your skin with a frost-bite. Place a cloth between your skin and the ice pack.
