Liquid meds or:: Most drugs are available in liquid forms. 'alternative' methods require the patient to achieve an altered state of consciousness. Transcendental meditation, hypnosis are common means. Alternative therapies for pain control can include herbals (actually, most medications started from herbal sources anyway!) or accupuncture/acupressure and massage are other means.

Try an Ice Pack: Often the post-operative pain is due to swelling. The use of cold will often reduce swelling and in turn reduce the discomfort. If the teeth were not impacted (below the gumline), and were "straight-forward" and quick removals, then the use of ice packs may be sufficient. Note: do not damage your skin with a frost-bite. Place a cloth between your skin and the ice pack.

A compounded elixir: You could use a compounding pharmacy, and have an elixir made with the prescribed medication, or a compound that could be applied to the wrist.
