Seek help: Sounds too severe for typical post op pain. Call surgeon and primary doctor to review (on phone or preferably in person) for the cause and best treatment. DO NOT exceed recommended doses of ibuprofen or tylenol (acetaminophen). Ask about trying non medication help for pain - physical therapy, different sleeping, sitting and standing aids. Try to avoid narcotics.
