Diagnosed as hypothyroid. Started Synthroid (thyroxine) from Nov 23, 2014. My sleep cycle is off since. Wake up after 4-5 hours sleep and then feel groggy. ?
I had a total thyroidectomy back in 2006 and am on synthroid (thyroxine). My husband states I have been twitching in my sleep at night. Could this be causing it?
I would like to try melatonin and come of sleeping pills , I am taking thyroxine will this be ok , my doctor has never heard of melatonin?
