Quite possible: Styes start in the gland adjacent to each eyelash and so you have 80-120 chances per lid to get a stye. Chalazia are a cystic wall the body puts around the stye to eliminate it from inflaming the lid. So you can have both a stye and a chalazion (and sometimes more than one each) in the same lid. What to do? See your opphthalmologist if you want these treated.
