Avoid aggravating: Excess weight can put a strain on the joints and promote pain with even normal every day activities. Specific foods or supplements won't help much. Strengthening the supporting muscles will, and walking and other quadriceps strengthening exercise should help. Avoid, when possible, those activities that cause pain. Most important is weight loss to reduce the strain. Good wishes:)
