Muscle pain: pain in the groin or as you say along the bikini line can have many causes some of which can be serious. The most common cause is a strained or torn tendon, ligament or muscle. These types of injuries usually improve with time but if this persists or worsens you should see an orthopedic doctor. Inflammation of the lymph nodes in the groin can also cause pain and usually they are swollen.
