No: Taking antibiotics help improve the skin infection, but it has to be appropriate. If you recently had the piercing, then it may not be an infection and just a bit of body reaction, or may be a sign of allergy. But if you had piercing for quite sometime and you think it is getting infected now, then it needs to be checked by a doctor who will then prescribe appropriate medication.
