Chronic chest pain worse in supine position. saw card 1 yr ago dx pericarditis. cough(new sx) for only the first 2 to 3hr in morning.no smoker. ideas?

Possible: Pericarditis if it was diagnosed with EKG changes. Sometimes it may linger on. It could be muscle pains too, or anxiety.

Chronic chest pain: May be reflux. Would elevate head of bed when sleeping and try 1 month of prevecid 30 qd ( OTC) and 150 mg of ranitidine OTC see if that helps. You are on plaqunil so likely have autoimmune disease so consider clot and recurrent pericarditis, as well ( less likely) but call you doctor in AM,, may be flare
