Dr gave each us 2000 mg metronidazole & diflican (2). i got sick vomiting the next day & he didn't get sick. so what's meaning possibly trichimoniasis is gone & will it come back after we took meds?

Possibly not: If both of the partners took adequate medicine , Trichomoniasis supposed to be gone! But female pt should take 500mg twice daily for seven days and male partner should take 500 mg tow capsule of Flagyl or Metronidazole twice daily for one day! So after that unless one of you catch it sexually from another partner it is less likely to come back
