Not likely serious.: It is easy to get little red dots from sucking, from mild injury such as getting pinched, or for no reason at all. Put a warm washcloth on it whenever you think of it, or ignore it. If you do not get injured again, It will probably go away. If not, or if it gets larger or starts to really hurt it might be time to go to a clinic. If anything is coming out of the nipple, go sooner.
