Need an ENT check up: Neck glands can swell up from repeated sore throats. This generally happens from virus infections but it can also be due to a strept throat infection or your tonsils may be infected. A good medical/throat exam is necessary to find the cause and treat it. An ENT doctor is the best specialist to help you solve this probelm.

Check it out: Swollen glands are not always serious, but they are never "normal". If not associated with an obvious illness like a current cold or flu, they should be checked out with your doctor this week. Many kinds of infections first appear like this. Some are minor, some very serious. More rarely, some kinds of cancers appear this way.
