Uncommon: Implantation bleeding is not really as common as the internet would have you believe. When it does happen it's usually 6-12 days after ovulation. A pregnancy test 14 days after unprotected intercourse is much more helpful. Implantation bleeding occurs exclusively in pregnant women. If your pregnancy test is negative then the bleeding was just irregular spotting.

No: Implantation bleeding isn't that common in real life. If you read the discussions on the internet, it sounds more common than it is because the women who are discussing it are the ones who are bleeding. The vast majority of women who get pregnant have no implantation bleeding. Best Wishes!
