I appear to have a shoulder injury related to either muscle or tendons. would you recommend a dr or physio appointment and consequently a ct or mri?

Mri: Mri is definitely better than ct scan for demonstrating abnormalities of muscles or tendons. In terms of whether to see orthopedic surgeon or physical therapist; where I practice a therapist works under the supervision of a physician; in other areas they work more independently. I think either would be fine to see, diagnose and treat you.
