A member asked:

In lft blood test ldh was elevated and isoenzymes ldh 3 was elevated. i got the lft again ldh was again elevated but lower than earlier. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, LDH is not a good marker of liver health or disease. If your GGT and ALT were normal the elevated LDH is not due to liver disease.
