A member asked:

If my cbc is all normal, can i assume i am relatively healthy? x

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood counts: A normal CBC does tell a lot about general health, because many systems besides the bone marrow (e.g. liver, kidneys, bowels, etc.) all contribute in some ways to normal function. But because the body has a large reserve capacity, it may take time for the CBC to become abnormal when there are dysfunctions in those systems.
