Pleuritic pain: Pain in your chest with breathing is called pleurtic chest pain. Possible causes include pneumonia, blood clots in your lung, rheumatologic diseases ( SLE) , fluid around your lung ( pleural effusions many causes), broken ribs and most commonly muscle strain. See your doctor for an evaluation.
