You need help: I hope you meant 100mg. If you're really taking 40 capsules of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) a day, and even if you're only taking 4 capsules a day, you need to see a board certified allergist for help. Even if the underlying cause of the itching can't be found, there are better ways to control it
