Hard to know: More information is needed to cover all possibilities. Perhaps most likely is a nerve entrapment. Other common issues are vascular flow or medication side effects. A reason to seek emergent care would be noticeable discoloration anywhere and particularly at the tips of the fingers. Schedule an appointment for an exam.
