How many days after should we discharge patient with opium poisoning?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Don't understand ?: By saying "we" do you mean you are one of the treating health professionals? If it is truly opium smoking, the effects are the same as those using short-acting opioids, which is 12-24 hours, and if there is no further respiratory depression, people can be discharged from an acute care setting. However, recommendations should be made for further treatment, transfer to a treatment program is best.
