Multidisciplinary : Make sure tour case is being discussed at a multidisciplinary meeting that includes the surgeon, along with medical and radiation oncologists, and radiologists. This is something usually referred to as a tumor board, and is present at many hospitals. Also look on the American Cancer Society website for more information about stage related treatment options.
