APS and pregnancy: Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is associated with pregnancy loss in both early and late pregnancy as defined by 1) > 3 unexplained, consecutive pregnancy losses 1 unexplained fetal death > 10 weeks of pregnancy. In each case, the pregnancy loss related to the anatomic, hormonal or chromosomal abnormalities should be excluded first before the test is sent.
