See your surgeon: there is a stitches that supposed to be absorbed,and they do not,the body will try to reject them,a reaction will be created similar to infection until they are out.go and see your surgeon.

Stitches problem: Thank you for your excellent question. Some stitches can take up to three months to dissolve. As they are absorbing, there can be a pus-like drainage. If this is still a problem after three months, you should see your plastic surgeon.
