Several causes: Relaxing in a hot tub naturally lowers your blood pressure a bit. Sweating causes an element of dehydration. Your blood vessels dilate to help cool your body. The combination can lead to a significant drop in blood pressure on getting out of the tub. Patients with a demyelinating disorders may also have autonomic insufficiency(Dysautonomia) which by itself can predispose to syncope.
