Multiple fallacies: Aids dissidents or denialists disagree that HIV is the cause of aids. They feel that HIV does not exist, that HIV has not been adequately isolated, that HIV testing is inaccurate, and that antibodies to HIV neutralize the virus. These fallacies have all been dispelled, especially with the advent of highly active antiretroviral therapy, which treats HIV and has decreased the incidence of aids.
