A member asked:

I have two red tiny dots in back of my throat. i dont know what they are due to though. and it doesnt itch or burn. what can it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Small blood vessel: Very small pinpoint red dots can be benign petechia..broken blood vessels that can arise from trauma, infection...ulcers can be rather small but they are usually uncomfortable. As long as there are no other visible abnormalities and they fade gradually this should be fine. If you see more of them or experience discomfort a physician should take a look.
