Causes of amenorrhea: It is a little unusual not to have a period for 8 months after stopping oral contraceptives. The first thing I would think of is under activity of your thyroid gland. But perhaps this has already been tested in the blood tests you have had. Other causes of amenorrhea such as elevated prolactin also need checking. Work closely with your gynecologist while maintaining a healthy diet and exercise.
