May be nl. variation: Although BCPs are effective birth control, your symptoms warrant pregnancy test to be sure. I would repeat the test one more time in a week if negative and confirm by blood test if still doubtful. Feel better!

HPT: That is possible. Brown blood is usually older blood. Take a home pregnancy test if you have not had a definitive period yet.
