Round ligament pain: Sometimes the ligaments that anchor your uterus down to your pelvis can get stretched, leading to a shooting pain that goes from your lower abdomen to your groin, which gets worse the further along you get in pregnancy. Movement makes it worse. You can relieve some of the pain by wearing a support belt for your belly.
