I am 28 weeks pregnant and my lower stomachs and cervical area has a lot of pressure along with a sharp pain shooting down my vagina. is this normal?

Not unusual. : Make sure it's not your bladder, you can use tylenol (acetaminophen) and get an abdominal support brace. Depending on history, pain tolerance. Work load, etc, it canbe worse, see your doctor.

Could: A lot of women at 28 weeks have pressure/pain in the pelvis, but sometimes preterm labor/contractions could cause similar discomforts. If this is bothering you then you should consult with your ob.
