Cycle with Clomid (clomiphene): You don't have to but most likely it would help to resolve the cyst, help your uterus to bleed uniformly and help you to ovulate better with the Clomid (clomiphene). In addition, Clomid (clomiphene) can cause the ovary with the cyst to get much bigger and increase your risk of you forming "mega" ovary that can be serious enough to require surgery. The pill idea is a win win situation.
