Talk to your doctor : Unless you have traveled to Africa and were bit by the tsetse fly, I'd say you may have depression. See your doctor for an evaluation to rule out the more common medical causes of your symptoms. Best wishes!

So many things: Can cause the sensation of need to sleep. Even if you've been sleeping your normal number of hours of sleep, if your sleep efficiency has worsened, this can lead to the sensation you describe. But increased stress, poor moods, a recent illness(even past infections like you can see with "mono"), anemia, nutritional deficiencies the list goes on and on. Your best bet is to reach out to your doc.
