Further clarification: It should be noted that the main risk on prostatic massage is if there is the potential for prostatitis (an infected prostate). The blood vessels in areas of inflammation (as in prostatitis or anywhere else) are "leaky." During a prostatic massage if there is an infection may cause the infection to spread - but generally not under normal circumstances.
