Wait and see: Dermoid cysts only need to be surgically removed if they cause problems. They are not infuenced by diet.

Need more info: Where is the dermoid cyst? It is usually in the ovary. If it not likely to interfere with growth of the uterus or labor, it would be better to address it after pregnancy. It would need to be removed either now or later. Diet will not affect the cyst. Please consult your obstetrician.

Neither?: I wouldn't suggest removal of the dermoid during pregnancy unless it is causing you problems such as pain or is producing unwanted hormones. If it does need to be removed, it can be removed via laparoscopy during the second trimester. Dietary interventions won't help the dermoid in any way. Most dermoids can be observed during pregnancy and removed sometime after you have your baby. Best wishes
