Yes: do take the child to your pediatrician. If your child is still being exclusively breastfed (which I don't advise), there may be no fibre in the diet to provide a BM. However if this is a new problem. you need to contact your pediatrician and seek advice.

Unusual: if your child is solely breast fed and not receiving any supplemental feedings then sometimes a child will absorb all of the available milk and there is not enough to go out in the stool. if your child is eating solids, then she is probably constipated and uncomfortable. would try to give her a little water to drink, but if fussy and uncomfortable, then there are suppositories that can help
